Our Pricing

Treatment details and pricing

DogsBody Health provides canine remedial massage and laser therapy treatments from our base in Hampton and mobile visits within 10kms to treat your dog in its own home.

Our fees are based on the time we spend with your dog.

Initial Consultation

60 min.
In an initial consultation we require a little more time so we can take a history and perform an assessment. Please have any relevant history from your vet, physio, acupuncturist, etc available.
Details

In an assessment we will have a feel of your dog's musculature and watch him moving around. Depending on the dog we may get him doing simple movements like lying down or sitting. We're getting an idea of which muscles may be tight and which are weak and what activities he can and can't do so well so that we can tailor his treatment.

Then we'll give him massage and/or laser therapy and discuss any ongoing treatment plan.

You will need to be present so that you can help hold him if required, or maybe feed him some treats to encourage him to stay still. Once he's used to his sessions, he probably won't need his mum to hold his paw but it's handy to have you around to begin with.

*Please note, laser therapy is an additional cost, see below for details

Frequently Asked Questions

Below you will find answers to our most asked questions. If you don't find the answer you are looking for, please send us your query using the 'Contact' button.
Where are you located?

Our base is in Ludstone Street, Hampton, off Bluff Road.

Our street address is 195 Ludstone Street, Hampton 3188 and we offer mobile services within an approximate 10km radius.

Is there visitor parking?

Yes, there are plenty of street parks on Ludstone Street.

If you or your dog have significant mobility issues and would prefer to park in the driveway, please let us know when you are at the gates so we can open them. The drive is a little narrow but can fit a large SUV. You will need to reverse out.

Are there stairs?

There aren't any stairs but there is a very slight slope.

What do I need to bring to the session?

Please bring a leash for your dog. If your dog wears a harness, it is likely we will need to access areas of the body that it covers, so please bring a collar as well as a leash. A few favourite treats if allowed.

Can I bring my dog to you?
Yes. We see clients from our base in Hampton, unless we are fostering a new greyhound, in which case we may prefer to come to you.
Can you see my dog at home?
Yes. Quite often your dog is more comfortable in their own space and treatments may be more beneficial when they are more relaxed.
Mobile treatments travel area guide
This map will provide a rough guide as to the 10km travel limit.
Do I need a vet referral?

You do not need a vet referral to make a booking, but we would always recommend checking in with your vet first. In some instances, your vet will refer you for canine massage or laser therapy or to other allied health professionals.

If my dog is on medications, can they still have a massage or laser?

Usually, yes, but please check with your vet to ensure there are no contraindications to canine massage or laser therapy before commencing treatments. We are happy to discuss treatments directly with your vet if required.

Regular treatments for your dog, correct exercise, supplementation, diet and home changes can often reduce the dependence on pharmaceutical pain relief and anti-inflammatory medications.

How do I book?
Please use the contact page on our website to make a booking. As we see clients from our base in Hampton as well as offer mobile services, we need to ensure we allow sufficient time for treatments and transport.
What payment types do you accept?
We currently accept cash and payment by direct deposit.
Do you offer any discounts?

We offer discounts to dogs in foster care and for those booking a course of laser therapy sessions. Please contact us for further information.
